THE SEATTLE STAR TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2, 1928, F tite: “Mag Weisfield & Goldberg’s Christmas Jewelry Plan HE modern way, which makes it possible for every person of good character to own and enjoy High-Grade Jewelry, such as Watches, Diamonds, Pearls, Silverware, etc., without the need of ready cash. Last year so many hundreds of good Seattle folks took advantage of the Weisfield & Goldberg Convenient Credit plan that during the last week before Christmas it was a physical impossibility for us to give good service to all who came, and, therefore, hundreds were disappointed. While we have increased our facilities, have openedStore No.2 at 310 Pike St., and have arranged to have a full staff of salespeople to serve you at both stores—still we believe it will be hard to give you the good service and attention we feel should be yours unless you begin your Christmas Jewelry buying a little earlier than usual. Therefore we offer our perfected Christmas buying plan, which enables you to make your selection NOW, as early as you wish. Make only a small deposit, say $1—and the article selected will be laid aside for you until you are ready to take it out for Christmas. In the meantime, if you wish to make additional small payments on the jewelry selected, you have that privilege, although it is not required, as under the new Weisfield & Goldberg Christmas Jewelry Plan you make your selection now, take it out for Christmas, and take most of next year to pay. Small weekly or monthly payments, to suit your own best convenience. “Meet Us and Wear Diamonds” s, 15 i SOARS SA RE aS EI ona eae ed NEE en eR Ae ae ow There is nothing mysterious about the Weisfield & Goldberg Plan. There are no embar- rassing questions, nor do we consult your friends or employ- ers. If you have lived in Seattle a reasonable length of time, if you have steady employment in a reasonably good posi- tion, and are known as having a good character, nothing further is required. If you already have eredit standing, well and good, and if you have been in the habit of buying only when you had the cash, we gladly help you establish a credit standing—a reputation which will be worth more than ready money in the future. Many have asked us why we emphasize the high quality of our Jewelry and Diamonds. We could buy cheap merchandise, we could get larger Diamonds, but we insist that our Jobbers and Importers send us only the highest quality the markets afford, because we know that by quality and good service we prosper and grow—and by the quality and service our friends receive from us, our reputation spreads in an ever-widening circle. Cash or Credit, the Price Is Just the Same A good reputation is the basis of Credit—and your Credit Rating is the reputa- tion that follows you to all parts of the country. Guard your credit, and your Grocer, Druggist, Tailor, etc., re- spect you. Even in a strange city the merchants are glad of an opportunity to accommodate you. Your Banker prefers to judge you by your credit reputation, And consider the convenience. It is often difficult to pay cash for the article you really want. Why buy something inferior or endure a personal sacrifice? Pay a little each week-or month without inconvenience to your ordinary habits of economy. Perhaps it would be necessary to save an amount before you could own the jewelry your heart desires, but by the Weisfield & Goldberg Plan you can enjoy it now, and turn your little “savings” in each week or month as payments. No Interest, No Extra Charges. And so to our good friends who know us, and also to those who have not yet learned the convenience, the comfort and the high quality of jewelry that are yours under the Weisfield & Goldberg Christmas Jewelry Plan, we say: “Come as early as convenient—help us help you make this Christmas happy, prosperous and enjoyable.
