How You Save $10 At Least On “F-B” Clothes 1. We buy for less —our big volume gives us the edge on competition; be- sides, we pool our buying with greatest retailer of men’s clothes in America. 2. There’s only one small Profit on F-B Clothes —buying at the factory and shipping direct to our stores eliminates middle- men’s profit. 3. We save $50,000 a year on rental charges —the profiteering landlord has never got us and never will, 4. Our store designs are famous for Economy —you don’t have to pay for mahogany and marble fix- tures here. 5. We transact a strictly Cash Business —you never pay for the other fellow’s bad debts when you buy Fahey-Brockman Clothes. 6. We turn our stock every 60 days —plainly we can “get by” on a much smaller margin than the average clothier who turns his stock twice a year. ~ Study These Facts! There are two ways of retailing qual- ity clothes. The old, time-honored method means a nice, quiet business—slow turnover— long profit and a sale at the end of each season for the purpose of clearing out “leftovers.” The modern method involves consistent selling every business day in the year—it means quick turnover—great volume and small profit per garment. The Fahey-Brockmam way is strictly modern. This business is geared to a 60-day turnover. That means a small profit on each garment sold—a saving of $10 at least per suit to the customer. Clothes are never in any of our stores long enough to become shop-worn. We have no rejected merchandise and therefore no “sales.” : Rockbottom Prices . . .. Fahey-Brockman believe in rockbottom prices all the year ’round instead of occasional periods of frenzied sales. We never juggle prices for the simple reason‘that we believe in playing square with every- body. Marking goods high enough in April to cover a mark-down in July doesn’t sound on the leyel to us. Therefore we price our clothes at the lowest figures at which they can be retailed. That’s why every. business day in the year is a great selling day for us.
