W. Nusbaum, of Nampa, Idaho, was solemnized Sunday afternoon at the Alpha Xi Delta sorority house, the Rev. John H. Matthews reading the service at 6 o'clock. Mis, Theodore Briggs, of Yakima, the matron of honor, was gowned in ‘almond green crepe with crystal bead embroidery and carried Columbia Foses, pink sweet peas and yellow snapdragons. The four bridesmaids, sorority sisters of the bride, wore georgette frocks, Mias Evelyn Ross in blue, Miss Burdette Wilson in pink, Miss Charlotte Dickinson in yellow @nd Miss Dorothy Brown in orchid. Their flowers were pink sweet peas. Mr. Dean Nusbaum was best man. ‘The bridg was lovely in a chcsel of embroidered net over changeable gold and apricot cloth with panels of filet lace. She wore a gold bandeaux on her hair, with a close cluster of French flowers on one side, and her arms were filled with Ophelia roses. _ Columbia, roses and pink sweet peas made the rooms very attractive for the ceremony, which was read before a background of the summer blossoms and greens. A reception followed the service, with Mrs. Martius King Presiding at the flower-bedecked table, assisted by a group of freshmen from Alpha Xi Delta. Afterwards Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Chandler enter- tained with a dinner for the wedding party at the Hotel Gowman.
