On failing to agree with the officers of the com- pany these Associations will represent them before the United States Railway Labor Board. There are now at work more than ninety per cent as many men as went on strike July Ist. At some points and in some departments there is a full complement and no more men are being hired. There are, however, some vacancies to be filled at some points and preferences will be given to former employes who apply for these places. To such of the former em- ployes as are given employment before October 1st the company will also restore full pension rights and pass privileges. The only way in which these benefits may be derived is by applying for and being granted'employment, and there is every indi- cation that all vacancies will be filled in a very short time. Apply at nearest shop or at Division Super- intendent’s office or at Room 217 King Street Sta- tion, Seattle. RALPH BUDD, Pres.
