New York, the Coast in- door ewimming championships, booked for the loca] natatorium July 21, may be called off, accord- ing to Guy Sherwood, Pool man ager. ‘The Coast meet would cost $1,000 to stage, and the attendance at the swimming meets here this year has been so slim that tt would hardly pay the Pool to take a chance on staging the Coast meet because of the expense, states Sherwood.
