The regular service of automobiles, leav- ing Tacoma at 8 a m., is being maintained. In addition to this serv- ice, passengers for the park may go as far as Ashford by railway and from there on into the park in the regular autos which meet all trains. Work of clearing the roads in the park is progressing rapidly and it is expected to have the road into Paradise Valley open for traffic to the inn, which will be ready for guests Saturday, June 25. The road is open as far as Nisqually glacier now and will be free from snow to Narada Falls by Sune 22. Sunday, July 3, is the date set for the fifth annua] ski tournament of the Northwestern Ski club, when crowds from Seattle and Tacoma go to the park to see the races and jumps and falls in the snow. It is suggested by the manage- ment of the park that intending vis itors make their reservations at Paradise Inn and National Park Inn as early as possible in order to be sure of securing accommodations.
