PAGE 11 Would Rather Have These Letters to My Children Published Than Anything Ever Written About Me” The personal, intimate letters written by Theodore Roose- velt to his children. What could be more interesting or # more inspiring than these documents from the great Amer- ican—the big-hearted father—Roosevelt? They have just been prepared and released for publication. . They tell of personal experiences in the war in Cuba, in the White House, on the Western plains among the cowboys; of meetings with generals; about rabbits, camp, camp fires, dolls and fishing trips, and other things of interest to the young Roosevelts. He drew funny pen pictures to illustrate his points. They will appear daily just as he wrote them, pictures and all.
