WASHINGTON, Oct. 11—The United States is seeing to it that posterity won't be denied its chance of viewing moving pictures of the great war. To safeguard the valuable cotlec- tion of photographic negatives as well as thousands of feet of moving picture filma, the war department has authorized the building here of fireproof storage vaults Under the direction of the gen- eral staff, thousands of “wtill” and moving pictures have been taken both here and abroad for the pur- pose of historical record.
