Every householder knows that. Raw mate- terial and finished products of every kind are hard to get at any price. Every manufacturer knows that. Labor is scarcer and wages higher than ever before in the history of the country. Every employer knows that. And all of this everyone excuses. None finds fault. All unite in saying: “These are war times and we are compelled to make the best of it. It is patriotic to put up with it without complaining. We accept the conditions as we find them.” - NOW STOP AND THINK A MOMENT WE ARE DOING THE VERY BEST WE CAN : If these are war times do they not affect all alike?
