STAR—MONDAY, APRIL 8, 1918. PAGE 4 —Comes the spirit of that Greatest American, to spur us on to Victory. —Comes memory of that dark and bleeding Valley Forge, followed by vic- torious Yorktown, to inspire and cheer State and Nation in a crisis that shakes mankind. —Comes George Washington’s Coat of Arms, sire of the Stars and Stripes, as honor badge for Seattle, King County and the State of Washington, in the Third Loan for Liberty. * 4 * * Upon the breast of every loyal American who does his share in this first weck of the Third Liberty Loan, George Washington, figuratively speak- ing, pins this shield of honor.
