They have secured #ubserip- In an effort to keep the cost of milk as low as possible to Seattle consumers, the undersigned four dairies have agreed to rearrange our system of delivery so that our routes will be more compact. Beginning Friday, February 1, we will confine our deliveries to a fixed territory, thus eliminating the duplication of routes and the attendant unnecessary costs. it is a well-known fact that it costs more to deliver milk in Seattle than any other city in the country, and this action comes as an effort of these four dairies to Keep the Cost of Milk at a Minimum in Seattle The plan adopted follows the recommendation of the special committee appointed by Mr. Herbert Hoover to investigate the dis- tribution of milk in the United States. As these four dairies have consistently maintained the high- est standard of milk for years, we feel that all of our customers will be benefited by this move. We urgently request that customers of all four dairies give us their co-operation and support. Please have your bottles and tickets ready the first day, so that we can make the change with the least trouble to you. The New Routes | } Customers in the North End (University, Wallingford, Fre- | mont, Green Lake, Ballard) will be served by the Brooklyn Dairy. | Queen Anne Hill will be served by the Mayflower Dairy. | Interbay will be served by the Merrymount Dairy. ) Capitol Hill (Broadway and Madrona) will be divided be- tween these dairies in the most economical method.
