Everyone in Seattle who has a job is asked by the committee in charge of raising this city’s $300, 000 contribution to the Red Cross to donate one day’s wage next Monday. They’re going to arrange it so that YOU can thus “do YOUR bit” by simply telling YOUR em- ployer that YOU want to contribute. ; “Perhaps giving a day’s pay,” reads the committee’s appeal, “means for you no . “KEEP FAITH WITH HIM WHO LAYS DOWN HIS LIFE FOR YOU” butter on your table for a month. Give it. What right have you to withhold, for a paltry luxury, the tender hand held out to him, stricken and tortured, who fights the good fight for you? Keep the faith with him. “Do not forget that with a love that passeth understanding he goes with head erect and singing heart to lay down his life, that you and yours may live in peace forever. “Match your tears and your pride of faith with your money until the giving cuts deep and then you will know rest and peace that comes with a duty done.” pSeSs sit sst sbi tess sts sissiscss LEAVE HER COIN wite Leave fr a day's wages so she can give it to the Red Cross when nurses make the house-to-house canvass Friday.
