ee a ee ue se es- Fa 8 € Less than two weeks from today the government of the United States is going to register from 25,000 to 35,000 Seattle young men between the ages of 21 and 30. Out of these are to be picked Seattle’s quota of the first half million troops to be sent to the trenches in France. @ It is going to be the biggest thing that ever happened ‘n the lives of those 35,000 Seattle men. They are vitally interested in every phase of the select service arrangements. So are their families, and their sweethearts, and their friends. Every person in Se- attle is closely interested, directly or indirectly. ¢ The St ts going to make an effort to publish ¢ y scrap of information avatlable regarding select ser- vice. Furthermore, realizing that there are many points concerning registration upon which there is still considerable doubt, The Star invites any of its readers who want information on this subject to write to the Select Service Editor of The Star, and your inquiries will be promptly answered thru the paper.
