Before that time, however, as some of the old-timers will remember, there many people in and around Seattle who intrusted their personal savings to Mr. Andrew Chilberg, founder of the bank and its president from the start. The idea of safety and fairness to all has been the cornerstone of the bank's policy from the start. Growth in deposits has averaged in round numbers $500,000 a year, ‘until today The Scandinavian American Bank stands among the foremost banks of the Pacific Northwest. Equally gratifying has been the growth of the hank’s activities in all its various departments. It is, therefore, fitting on this Anniversary Day that we express to the people of this section our appre- ciation of their support and confidence that has made possible such a splendid success. And, bespeaking for the future the same loyal sup- port accorded in the past, tend our congratu- lations to the people for their important part in building up such a record of their progress and pros- perity. wee Scandinavian American Bank Seattle, Washington 50c size King’s ‘Asparagus | ie Williams’ Pink Pills, 50c . “ size ae ..
