No one will ever die through its accidental use; there- fore, by its general use thousands of deaths may be averted annually. Government Test (reported in Bulletin No. 82, page 39, U.S Health Service Hygienic Laboratory, pub- lished April, 1912), shows that Benetol is 1.23 as effective against germ dangers as phenol (carbolic acid).
