The milk is given care that would surprise those not fa- miliar with Maplewood methods. The cows are milked twice daily. The attendants dress in immac- ulate white, and before each milking come direct from the bath. No time is lost—after each milking the milk is scientifically coqled and bottled at once. The milk is delivered the same day it is pro- duced. This accounts for the prizes this dairy has won during the past few years in open competition with dairies from all points of the country. Healthy cows, care in handling the milk, atten- tion to sanitation and swift delivery, all tend to give the Pure Milk Dairy the enviable reputation it now enjoys.
