It’s time to quit coaxing and grab a club. ‘1 SWAN TO GOODNESS MAYFIELD, Ky., Nov. 6.—While filling a quart bottle with water from a spring near here a farmer discovered what he thought was a horse hair wiggling in the bottle of clear water. He had filled the bottle to drink, but on seeing the wriggler, decided he would exam ime it with a magnifying glass. The hair proved to be a tiny snake. When placed {n a shallow plate of water for examination, it would strike at a toothpick held near its 4 in other ways like Its color was that It is believed to be a species of the cabbage snake and probably as poisonous, Its length is two and one-half inches DOCTOR OUGHT TO TAKE THE PowoeRs THtee ‘TIMES A DAY, AND You"LL HAVE ‘YO GIVE UP SMoxin@.
