In granting this injunction, Judge W. B. Neff, of the on pleas court, got off some observations that are truly h widespread publication. Here are some excerpts: “Equality of rights is the first of rights. Equality of op- tunity is one of the canons of social justice. One's city to teach is property; it is acquired skill, and ac- d skill is a property right. ; “To hold that a teacher may not enter into a contract the board of education to teach, if that person be especial- fitted to fill the vocation of a teacher, would be in effect @estruction of a property right. “The right of a laborer to barter for the sale of his labor @ property right. To close the market to the laborer render valueless that labor. “It is the clearly defined policy of the state of Ohio, d in the statute laws, to encourage rather than to urage combinations among laboring people for their advantage. The labor union has become an integral of our latter-day civilization. “The whole tendency of the time is toward a wider tol- of labor unions and of their efforts for the betterment workingmen’s conditions. “School teachers are laborers in perhaps the highest field human endeavor. For them to combine to better their dition cannot necessarily militate against their efficiency teachers.” One War Product Worth While REDST to Villa one of the best things yet done in Mexico He is sending the orphaned sons of his fallen soldiers to the United States to be educated.
