lome Runs Win for the Islanders VICTORIA, July 26,-—Seattie got a taste of Its own medicine yee , and went down to bitter defeat, Victoria winning the game to 5, the Islanders making al! their scores by home runs, The tally Was tied in the ninth inning, but Bill Goodman rapped out the fourth of the game, and the visitors were vanquished. Vietoria seored first in the third when DeVogt pasted one over ~ the barricade. Seattle took the lead tn the fifth, Leard was hit by a pitched Cruickshank singled, and Householder’s hit brought Leard across pan. Ort was hit in the ribs by the ball, loading the ba and mond came through with a blow that scored Cruickshank, Shea and retired the side with the bases groaning. Sage walloped out a homer in the sixth Thorsen doubled for Victoria, and Goodman singled. © Grove out a home run that scored three. 7 Clementson drove out another homer fn the seventh. Nothing doing in the eighth, but in the ninth Leard singled. Crutek and Householder were retired by files, and Bues singled, scoring .
