Prigmore of the superior court died yesterday as the result of two bullet wounds inflicted by Robert H. Evans, dep: uty prosecuting attorney, and his former iaw partner, who mistook the jurist for a cougar in the thick wooded country near Mt. Bake: The news of the tragedy came tohis friends like a thunderbolt from a clear sky, and hundreds of people in Seattle Kept the tele wires hot last night in an e to learn the truth of the re- port which reached Seattle late yesterday afternoon. } Evans Was Out Alone. Judge Prigmore told Evans, with whom he had left Seattle on a hunting trip, that he would sleep late yesterday morning, for he was not feeling well. Evans started out Into the woods alone.
