tw TWO WOMEN FIGHT A QUEL. THE DEATH Murder and Then Suicide Occur in Fashionable Apartment House in the City of Chicago. (Ry United Press) CHICAGO, Sept. 16.—Mre Stivers, formerly of New York and killed Mrs, Julius Tripp of this clty, her sisterin-law, and then com Jacob mitted sutctde tn the apartments of the former in a fashionable resi den district here late yesterday Mrs. Tripp was found with 10 bullet wounds and one knife wound in her body, Mrs, Silvers died at a hospital last night ing the crime. The police able to get a full and connected statement from Mrs. Silvers, as she repeatedly became unconscious while being questioned, and died before any details could be obtain ed. It ts belleved the tragedy was caused by a quarrel over the di vision of household duties.
