The Dental Combine of Washing- ton has evidently served its pur- pose and it is time for Washington to have @ new deal in the ad ministration of tte dental law, as woll as many others which | would like to mention WHY WAS | ARRESTED AND NOT TRIED? It will be remembered that one day not long since the Seattle papers announced that Dr. B. J Brown and several other dentiats in Seattle had been arrested. They had been taken to jail when it was too late for them to get thelr bond that day and would have been com pelled to remain in jall all night only for the sound jndgment and discretion of our most able sheriff, Mr. Hodge. Not one of these dental cases has ever been tried and these arresta were made for the same reason that the Dental Combine re fused to attend the dental exhibt tion, namely, for the purpose of de stroying the reputation and business of those dentists who were arrested at the instigation of the gang How would you like to be arrest: ed every few days and be put to the inconventence of tting up your bonds, remaining an hour or two in jail, and then having It heralded through the public print that you had been arrested and locked up?
