We are going to print a little history and a little prophecy here that will interest you. Twenty Years Ago The street car men of this town were not paid so well as they are now. aware, the hour rate for platform men has been advanced several times during the past ten years. However, even in those days, just as there are now, there were street As you are car men who made up their minds to make their wages, however limited, earn some- thing more than a living for them. So they dug in, worked hard, saved every cent they could, and put those small savings into realty where they thought it would do them the most good. And That Is When Some of the old-time motormen and conductors, who are now gray-haired men, still in the service, went to the Moore Investment Co. and bought lots on monthly ayments, lying around the southern end of Lake Union, a section of the city the ean was at that time handling almost exclusively. For those lots they paid from $100 to $200, Ina year or two those lots doubled and trebled in value. Some of the street car men sold at a big profit, others held on and made a fortune. Lots in that section today are worth, without exception, from $6,000 to $20,000 each. Other street car men, and many of the same ones, bought lots on Capitol Hill when the Moore Investment Co. first put’ that splendid addition on the market, and you all know what Capitol Hill lots are worth today. Into other additions and plat- tings the street car men followed the Moore Investment Co., amd always with big financial profit to themselves, And So We Were Not Surprised When the street car men were among the first to come into the offices when the sale of IRONDALE lots began, and buy lots in the new steel city on Port Townsend bay. And lots in IRONDALE, as an investment, ought to appeal with peculiar force to every street car man in the city. The big steel mills will open in October with a force of hundreds of workmen, who will live, with their families, in Irondale, which immediately adjoins the plant. Irondale will at once acquire a large popula- tion, with stores, schools, hotels, places of amusement and all of the things that go with the make-up of a large, thriving manufacturing town. And You Can Still Buy a Lot In IRONDALE for $100 to $200, just the same price as was asked when IRON- DALE, a beautiful, rolling, vacant plateau, was first put upon the market. Can't you see the certain big rise which is sure to come in the value of every lot in IRONDALE Just as soon as the steel mill§ begin to operate, four months hence? And can you get as quick action on your money anywhere else on earth? Drop in at the office when you are off for lunch. We will give you a plat, com- plete prices, terms and other information very cheerfully, SEE MOORE INVESTMENT COMPANY, 400 Arcade Annex
