According to Dr. Crichton, this Lake Washington water is st ior to the water used by the majority of cities in the United States. Seattle is today facing a crisis in the matter of its water supply. This morning there was but five feet of water in the Lincoln park reservoir, which supplies the down town district, when there should be 19 feet. For 16 hours on Sunday no water came into Seattle. It was hoped that when the big mains were again opened, the reservoirs would show an increase.
