CORRUPTION THE Issue Senator Levi Ankeny, who has brought shame to the senate and disgrace to the people of the state of Washington, has been publicly accused in the columns of this and other newspapers of being a drunkard and a bribe-giver The charges have never been resented and have been nied only in general and indirect terms. In the minds of the people of the state, Senator Ankeny stands a convicted drunkard and corruptionist Levi Ankeny bought with filthy money one of the highest offices which the constitution designed to be in the gift of the people.
