Then probably you don’t understand the real estate situation here, and why one section of the city should be so much more desirable and valuable than others; why an investment in property to the East, West and South is not nearly so good as buying property in the Northern part. In that case you have missed a good deal of the point of these ads of mine—— Take a look at the map of Seattle. Notice that part of town just north of Green Lake? Well—that’s the “Green Lake District,” sometimes called “T-P-Fay-ville” or “Fay-town” on account of my being so largely responsible for making it what it is today. I've given over eight years of my life and more than a little money to the upbuilding and improvement of this dictrict, and my friends think that the credit for its man-made advantages are due to my efforts. But ‘never mind about that part of the story—what I want you to appreciate is, as you see, that here is where realty values must double or treble in a short time—must, because the city is growing in this direction as it is in no other, and this soon will be the center of Seattle's residence population. New houses are going up every day—going up by the dozens and scores and a family in every one just the minute it is completed, sometimes before. It is served by two car lines now and soon will have two more—the trip to Pioheer Square is' made in twenty-five minutes. Streets‘are graded, city water, sewers and electric lights are in, and all the other improvements of a first class residencé section are going in as fast as men and money can work. The boulevard around Green Lake is now under construction; the Park Board is going to beautify both Woodland and Green Lake Parks, two roads are seeking franchises for an interurban road from Seattle to Everett, to run through this section, $200,- 000 has been spent by the Country Club on their grounds and golf links nearby, and more is going to be spent; the road from Shilshole Bay to Green Lake is to be graded through; the © Green Lake car line soon will be double-tracked around the lake; the Fremont Avenue-Wood- land Park car line is to be extended to the Golf Links and Country Club; and many other new improvements and conveniences are under way. It’s simply this—if you are looking for a place for a home or a place to invest your money profitably there is no part or portion of the city of Seattle that offers what the Green Lake District does. And to make it even more attractive to you I am willing to sell you an extra large lot in “Greenwood Park,” “West Green Lake Garden Tracts,” or “Salmon Bay Second Addition” —the choicest parts. of this choice district—for $10 down and $10 a month. More than that—the Fay way of selling is to GUARANTEE SATISFACTION—that is, give you your money back if for any reason you are not satisfied wit, the deal after hav- ing made it. That means absolute safety, as you will appreciate. I will be glad to have you call at my office and talk this over with me. T. P. FAY 502-503-504-505 Mehlhorn Building.
