It may be better to speak of ‘Thanksgiving in’a broader sense. | Perhaps if it served no other purpose, it would do us good be- cause we are apt, under its influence, to sit down a minute and try to find out what it is for which we ought to give thanks We believe it is your experience. Maybe that doesn’t sit well with you. Maybe your experi ence this year has been anything but what you'd like to go through again. Maybe this has been the hardest year of your life, We thought of that before And it doesn't make us hesitate a moment in saying you ought to be thankful for that experience. If it has been a pleasant year, it is easy to be thankful If it has been a hard year, why then, if you are big enough to too, for hardness has all the still, that see it, you may be thankful for that, richer compensation Generally, our vision is so limited, It's so rarely that we see further than ourselves at this one moment. FAKES—NOAH’S DIARY AND OTHERS Watch out for fakes. The world is full of them. There is no limit to what one human intelligence will try to make another human intelligence believe.
