I started out yesterday by telling how a few of us are going to make a profit of $275,000 on a cash investment of $45,000 in a real estate deal—and how anyone with $100 or more can become one of that “few.” I’ve been kept busy ever since answering the ‘phone and telling people more about it. It wasn’t all idle talk, either. Yesterday I said that we had to have $45,000 subscribed by February 27, Today I can state that we need only $33,000 more. $12,000 worth of the Certificates of Ownership have been taken by wide awake menwho were quick to appreciate the opportunity offered. Not bad for a start, eh? At first fifteen days seemed a short shrift in which to raise the money—but at the rate it is coming in there is ample time, and to spare. But may be I am speaking in riddles to you because you missed readjng my talk in yesterday's papers. In that case I'll repeat my proposition and plan briefly. It’s just this: Half way between Seattle and Tacoma there is a 2so-acre tract of land with«two miles of waterfront on Puget Sound—ideal situation, delightful surroundings, beaytiful, view, un- equaled natural advantages, transportation by both rail and water, and a host of other at- tractions. I have an option on this property until February 27 for $85,000—$45,000 cash, and the balance in one year at 7 per cent. By placing it on the market by or before May ist we can sell every acre and lot by or before September ist and make a net profit of $279,000. There is also a sand and gravel proposition that is leased for seven years At a foyalty that will more than pay the entire purchase price. I would like to swing the whole thing myself, but I have not the necessary cash. There- fore, | propose to organize and incorporate a company to buy, sell, and manage the property, Capital stock will be $150,000, divided into 1,500 shares of $100 each. That lets you in, To this association of owners the property will be deeded at the actual cost—$85,000. After the development and selling expenses have been met the remaining shares will be sold for the benefit of those who subscribe the first $45,000, or will be distributed pro rata among these initial stockholders, as they choose. The shares of stock will be made out and held as Certificates of Ownership, thus assur- ing absolute and equal protection to all subscribers. That is my scheme in a nutshell, but there is much more to it that I'l! tell you about when you come in to talk it over with me. It strikes me as about the best chance to make sure and big profits on a small invest- ment that has offered, even in this land and city of opportunity. And that without a bit of risk. One of the beauties of the plan is that it gives the man or woman with $100 as fair a chance as the one with $1,000 or more. Also first choice in the selection of lots for them- selves. It is an ideal place to live in the summer, or all the year ‘round, Riparian rights go with the land so that you can have your own beach and all the advantages which that gives. I don’t know how long the remaining 330 shares will be on the market, but unless I miss my guess the last one will have been taken in a very few days, so if you want to be in with us it would be wise to speak quickly. In any event it will pay you—you owe it to yourself—to come to my office and let me explain all the details and prove to you that this is a most unusual opportunity, not only to make money, but also to secure first choice for a home on the most beautiful part of Puget Sound. My office is in the Pioneer Building, rooms 629-633. Both ‘phones, Main 3487. My name is L. Frank Brown, It might be well to ask some of your friends about me, to satisfy yourself as to my reliability IT IS BETTER THAN A BANK ACCOUNT PES LL 1
