Editor The Star—Permit me to thank you for your kind ness in furnishing me a copy of the letter to Prosecuting At torney Mackintosh relative to the frauds committed in connec tion with the municipal election of last March. | have made the investigation into the facts as suggested by you and have no hesitation in saying that there is ample evidence here to justify the arrest and prosecution of the election judges you name (Louis Huny and E. J. Parkinson). | have had @ talk with Police Officer Lillle and the other witnesses whom you mame and find them ready to corroborate, on the witness Stand, if called upon, the facts you recite Allow me to say further that | think that these men shouid be arrested and vigorously prosecuted, both that justice may be done and that notice may be served that ballot box frauds will not be winked at by public officials in this community.
