Domenico Pasquale, 9 brother of the condemned man, residing in Boston, is the author of the charges, He says he paid Page $400 to prose- cute the appeal and then abandoned the cane. T. D. Page, the attorney against whom the charges are brought, says that he dewires a full investigation. He says he received the $400 as a retainer and spent about $250 in fees; he further says that Pas- quale’s brother agreed to pay $600 more, and upon his non-complianca, after due notice, Page dropped the case. He says the district attor- ney's office was fully aware of the contract, and he does not fear the result of the procerdings.
