On the contrary, we have tried to have everyone feel that each hour of the day and each day of the week is an “opening” here—that we always have our best foot forward and that visitors are always welcome. This Spring finds us so busy, however, and there is so much more to see than there ever has been before, that we realize that unless some special steps are taken to give folks an opportunity outside of regular business hours to see Frederick & Nelson's of 1905, many will not appreciate the vast strides this store has made. Then again, despite our ef- forts to make everyone feel at home, we know many good friends of this store won't come in when just “looking around”—seem to feel they ought to purchase. And so, for these various reasons, we have arranged for next Wednesday and Thursday evenings not a formal open- ing—formality is not in keeping with the democratic spirit that prevails in this store—but to keep “open house” in a gen- teel way, so all who wish can come in at a time when no goods will be for sale, when many others will also be “just looking around” and when our time will be entirely yours to command without your feeling that you are keeping us from waiting on trade. You will find much of interest, we're sure. No newspaper description can convey an idea of the charm and beauty of our Spring stocks of Furniture, Floor Coverings and Draperies. Be sure to come in and see them for yourself. If you prefer to come in during the day, by all means do so—you're more than welcome. If you've more time in the evening, just remember that we'll be here next Wednesday and Thursday evening from 7:30 to 10:00 o'clock especially to receive you. Positively no goods sold during these hours, Announcement This Store Will Keep Open House From 7:00 to 10:00 Next Wednesday and Thursday Evenings POSITIVELY NO GOODS WILL BE SOLD DURING THESE HOURS, While we are always glad to receive visitors, pressure of business often prevents their seeing the store to best advantage. Then again, many folks are too busy to come in during the day who can readily come in the eyening hours. We want one and all to know Frederick & Nelson's you don’t know what progress we have made, Come in any ever, for next Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7 here to show you around Come.
