=DOPINION EXPECTED CORPORATION COUNSEL LIAM PREPARING REPORT TO HEALTH BOARD ON CEDAR RIVER MATTER GIL-| Corporation Counsel Gilllam is expected to have his opinion rela tive to the authority of the board of health to examine and to con trol the sources of the city's water supply ready for presentation to th doard at its next meeting next Mor @ay night. The opinion will unm doudtedly support the belief of the members of the board that the right Vested in them by the state law ts absolute This is the off hand opinion given By attorneys who were seen today They state that the state statute gives the board of Ith absolute authority tn this and that ft transcends any city ordinance hat may apply to the case. ‘The board of health instructed its @eeretary to secure this informa tion from the corporation counsel at its last meeting.
