The New Lighting Rate Is as Follows: 200 per kilowatt hour for the first 20 hours per month use of the lights, and 60 for all additional consumption; also subject to a discount ‘of 10 per cent. for prompt payment. This new rate will effect a reduction varying in amount according to the length of time the lights are used, and will be a little over 23 por cont, & the customers using their lights on the average five hours per day. The New Power Rate based on the same principle as the lighting rate; that is, tte price per kilowatt hour depends upon the number of hours that the power is used, On this basis of charge the small power user receives for the same hours’ use, much the same rates as the large user.
