The largest number of shares of any one stock yet sold during the continuance of the market in months went on record as changing owgers. Red Top Extension, which has hall a number of flurries, went like the pro- verbial “hot cakes,” between the open- ing and closing gongs. NEW DEAL MADE AT WONDER Goldfield Operators Take in Locations That Carry Rich Ore GOLDFIELD, Feb. 18.—A Wonder deal has been consummated In the pur- | chase by prominent Goldfield operators, |including H. T. Bragdon, J. M. Denny, L J. Gay and Dick Colburn, of four of the early locations. To develop this property the new owners have organ- ized the Castle Rock Wonder Mining Company. | The claims were located last May by | Fred Seger, who was at Fairview at the time of the first discovery at the new camp. Leaving at midnight, he made the locations early the next morning. At the time Seger was out on a grubstake put up by three em- ployes of the Montezuma Club of Gold- fleld, who are now assured of a com- | fortable fortune from this property. | Several good ledges are exposed on the Castle Rock group, and from shal- | low openings made in performing the location work assays have yielded | $219.76, $591.10 and $1300. The owners for the property. | BLAIR GROWING RAPIDLY | BLAIR, Feb. 18.—Blair is growing rapidly. Since the raillroad connections were established with the Tonopah- Goldfield line there has been no lull in the building boom. The site is admir- able, offering natural advantages and the buildings are substantial. Developments in the Silver Peak dis- | trict, of which this town is now the | business center, are becoming more active every day and the town is hav- ing a season of prosperity. The Pitts- | burg Silver Peak Company has a large force of men at work on the site of the 100-stamp mill being constructed near the town.
