In due time Judge McKinley, Walter Parker and Senator Savage of Los Angeles will agree on the boosting of some one from the south. Orrin S. Henderson will probably be elected president of the league to succced Ferd K. Rule. Following is the text of the official call for the convention: The fifth blennial convention of the. Cali- fornia State League of Republican Clubs will be held at the city of Santa Cruz on Monday and Tuesday, May 14 and 15, 1906, The basis of representation will be one dele- gate at large and one delegate for each twen- ty-five members upon’ the rolls (and the presi- dent, secretary and treasurer ex officio) of each club affiliating with the league. All the officers and” members of the executive commit-, tee of the California State League, and past, presidents of the league, are accredited dele- gates to this convention, Alternates may be chosen for each elected delegate, and they will be accorded seats in the convention with their respective delega- tions.
