Bogue, chief engineer of the Western Pacific Railroad Company, returned yesterday from a trip to Salt Lake City, where hie had been on busi- ness connected with the road. As a result of hgs visit along the line the construction work will be hurried as fast as possible. The Pacific Coast Construction Company of Portland, which had. the contract for grading the line as far as Oroville, has sold its contract to the E. B. and L. A, Stone Company of Oakland.
