HONOLULU, March 2 —Miss Bertha Berner, who was Mrs. Stanford’s secretary, has named Ah Wing, a Chinese cook employed at Mrs. Stanford’s San Francisco home, as the person whom she suspects of placing the strychnine in the bicarbonate of soda. Advices received here are to the effegt that Ah Wing is in the custody of detectives in San Francisco. More arrests are expected to follow at the conclusion of the investigation into the cause of death.
