A. Hyde and H. P. Dimond, under indictment by the Grand Jury of the District of Colum- bia. Judge Merrow held that the in- dictment was valid and that it chars:d‘ a crime against the United States. Bert Schlesinger, counsel for the de- fendants, presented papers on appeal to the Supreme Court of the United | States, and the defendants were re- quired to give bonds of $10,000 each, | which they did.
