The recent high rices led many Butter makers to abandon utter for Cheese, and the result is an over- stocked and unmanageable market. So great has this influx from the north become that San Francisco dealers have lately notified their northern correspondents not to send any more Cheese here, even on consignment, but they are shipping just the same.
