British Columbia Police Have Warrant for a Rich Man. VANCOUVER, B. C, Oct. 13.—A war- rant has been issued by the Vancouver | police at the instance of Miss Elizabeih Cressell of Whatcom, charging bigaray against Joseph A. Wood, a wealthy min- ng man of Montana. Miss Cressell, or Mrs. Wood, as she was known until recently, claims that Wood went through a form of marriage with ler in Vancouver last June. She alleges that at that time he knew that he had a v.fe living In the Unlted States. Since then Wood has been divorced from his first wife.
