James and Warde Enjoy an Outing and Pay Visit to" Battleship. —s According to the Liverpool Daily Jour- nal of Commerce, the British ship Dun- earn, out 206 days from Barry, for Sitka, Alaska, with reinsurance quoted at 30 per cent, was spoken by the Glenericht, now in this port, on December 15, in lati- tude 25 south, the information being ca- bled to that paper from Vancouver. The owners of the Dunearn, with refer- ence to the reported speaking, state that they have no news cdufirming the report. They add that as the Glenericht arrived in San Francisco December 25, the latitude of the reported speaking would be 25 north, not south. The owners of the Glenericht report that on December 15 their vessel was in latitude 25 degrees 01 minute north, longitude 124 degrees 2) min- utes west, but the master does not men- tlon having spoken the Dunearn. It is possible that he reported the fact in San Francisco. In the absence of the master the first mate of the Glenericht when seen yester- day stated that the missing vessel was not spoken and there is no entry on the 10g to bear out the assertion made by the Liverpool Journal. eadiel Visits the New York.
