The Board of Health met yesterday to take some action regarding the dismissal of Market Inspector River by the Civil Service Commission on charges preferred by 8, Aftergut. Chief of Police Wittman moved that the eonsideration of the case be postponed until after an injunction is- sued by Judge Cook to prevent River's discharge be decided. The writ summons the members of the board to appear im court within five days to show cause why the injunction should not be made per- manent.
