At London copper was 25 6d higher, with spot at £52 2s 6d and futures at £52. 4 7% Tin was a shade higher here, but Ts lower in London, where spot closed at £116 s €d and futures at £114 5s. Lead ruled steady and unchanged at 43c. At London lead was 1s 3d lower at £11 6s 3d. Spelter ruled unchanged here at 4.35c and also at London at '£17 10s. 5 New York iron was quiet and steady and unchanged. Pig iron warrants remained nom- inal. No. 1 foundry Northern was quoted at $18 50@19 50; No. £ foundry Northern, $18 50 @19; No. 1 foundry Southern soft. $17 H0@18. At Glasgow the closing price for pig iron warrants was 2d lower at 52s 7d.
