The fortieth anniversary of the Gentle: men’s Sodality of St. Ignatius Churca was observed yesterday. Just before the 7:30 o’clock mass Rev. Father Hickey, its spiritual director, spoke on the growth of the sodality from a mere handful to its present large membership. He took occasion to state that James R. Kelly had been a member during the entire forty years of the sodality’s existence, and during that time had missed but one Sunday meeting. The entire sodality received holy com- munion in a body at the 7:30 o’clock mass. Rev. J. Hickey is_director, James R. Kelly prefect and John E.
