BOSTON, March 13.--The American Wool and Cotton Reporter will say to-morrow: Thero is a steadler tone to the wool mar- ket, and on the whole a more careful feeling is apparent than has been manifest for some time. A large volume of business has been transacted, and it has been dome without making any further concessions in prices. The pressure to sell wool Is decidedly less marked than it was, and some holders have refused to let wools go on a difference of only %c Detween their views and those of the intend- ing buyers. Reports from manufacturers to the business which they are doing indl- cate that orders on large weights have been surprisingly large, but that fancy worsteds have been slow. Sales for the week in Boston amounted to 4.913.000 pounds domestic and 1,310,000 pounds forelgn, making a total of 6,333,000 pounds, against a total of 3,729,500 pounds for the pre- vious week and 1,907,000 last year. The sales since January 1 amounted to 40.- 850,800 pounds, against 34,408,000 pounds for the corresponding time last year. London Wool Market.
