Young and Sam- uels, according to the 'testimony of the | Chinese, entered his store on the evening | of December 21 with a search warrant to | look for lottery tickets. In the course of their search they insisted upon the pro- | prietor opening his safe, from which they took $600, so he alleged. The testimony of the merchant was backed up by that of three of his employes.
