At the annual meeting of the Makaweli| Sugar Company on Wednesday the report of | the treasurer showed that the receipta from 4533 tons of sugar already accounted {Or were | $342,794 80, and that from sugar yet to arrive an additional sum would be received sufficient to bring up the income for the current year | to $1,122,047 9. The expenditures, including ail improvements during the past year, were $47,- 253 06, showing a net profit to the company of $575,000.
