Ancient British Cannon Taken From the Savannah River. SAVANNAH, Ga., April 1.—The dredge Babeock, at work in the river here to-day, picked up two old type English cannon in a man-of-war wreck. One gun weighs about 1000 pounds and the other 850 ounds.
