FOSTER, all residents of Atchison. The train was in charge of Conductor E. W. Montgomery, who, with Rear Brakeman Wamsley, escaped. The train c isted of two loads of grain, one load of Government supplies for Leavenworth and enty-three empties. It was headed for Kansas City, and as the engine struck a trestle the structure gave way, precipitating the engine into the ravine, twenty feet below, with the three men beneath.
