Dunn, wife of a prominent physician of Fresno, was found dead in bed in a room in the Grand Hotel about 7 o'clock last evening. Whether or not she was a victim of self-destruction or wheth- er death was due to natural causes re- mains to be determined. Mrs. Dunn engaged a room during the afternoon. She told the bell boy, who had known her for some time, that she was not feeling w+ll, and asked to be called at the hour of 7. The servant advised the woman to take a good sleep, and she promised to do so. At the appointed hour the required call was made, but there was no response. It was finally found necessary to force the | door, and Mrs. Dunn was found dead. A flask of whisky, part of the contents of which had been consumed, was found on the table, and a towel over the keyhole to prevent any one look ing into the room.
